Based in downtown Berkeley with a bona fide reputation for making some of the best Carignane wines in all of California, adding Vinca Minor to the roster was an easy call for Nekter.
Husband Jason (globe-trotting photographer turned hospitality professional turned winemaker) and wife Emily (business and branding brains behind the winery) are making brilliant and bright wines which have landed in the UK with a flash and a bang.

Old vine and dry farmed from Hawkeye ranch. Harvested in early September. Grapes were fermented with 25% whole clusters and the juice was gently pumped over daily for a light extraction. Wine was then aged in older french oak for 9 months.
Salted plum, red fruit and fennel. 49 cases produced.
