The Milla Pinot originates from a vineyard planted on a ridge in the south Adelaide hills on moisture retaining clay over ironstone, home to an extremely rare clone of Pinot Noir known for its bright fruit characteristics. Viticulturist Sam is in fact now responsible for farming the site, and he works it organically, with great attention to this tricky clone and the the vineyard's management.
25% whole bunches - fermented in traditional open top fermenters before being transferred to stainless steel to retain it’s purity and vibrancy. Minimal Filtering. Minimal Sulphites.
Named in homage to winemaker James' daughter, this is a very pretty, vibrant number. Berries and cherries, cinnamon, nutmeg and an enticing smoky, cola nut edge.
